Jonas Vs. Air Gear
Air Gear is really badly done, to say the lest. The only think all that good about it is the storyline, but there’s only so much that a good story line can hold up. Which means the manga is awesome, but they changed way to much when making the anime. If any thing, they should try to correct it by finishing the series><. It’s only 25 episodes compared to the 200+ chapters.
Bah, what can you do…other then just give up on the anime and just read the manga. I highly recommend it…go read it…right now. I’m being serious, the manga is like crazy good.
So there you are, and now then only reason worth watching the anime:
Akito/Agito!

Jonas Vs. Bleach
Bleach was the first super long anime I decided to tackle. It's really good, though the manga isn't even done yet and as of today there are 176 episodes released, I'm on 169. I think this animes really shows that animes can be long with out being tiresome. Not to say that it doesn’t have like 30 episodes of filler><.
The pot is ever changing; the mage twists are actually unseen, but aren’t stupidly common. The way deferent characters come in and out of focus is also nice. You can tall someone’s really thought it through. I really like the concept behind this and all it's moving parts. It's not simply good vs. evil, because there are those on both sides who you just cant help but love/hate. I think this really makes the characters. They also take the time to actually go back through the characters history (filler, I know) but the way they do it is really nice. You can really see all the side to the characters.
Bleach also has tow movies, which where created with real side manga (not just pulled out of someone’s ass). Memories of Nobody and The DiamondDust Rebellion.
This is one of my favorite Animes.

Jonas Vs. Loveless
Loveless is a lot like Gravitation in that it's 13 episodes long and gay themed. However, I think Gravitation is far better. Loveless is the type of anime that just watching you know the manga is better. There seem to be meager plot holes like, what the hell happened in the end? They resolve nothing.
But other then the totally sucking ending, it's not all that bad. The characters are a little to all over the place. From the depressed main character to the big chested bimbo, and everything in-between. They don't do nearly enough background, you never find out why anything happened. Like you have all these characters coming in left and right, and you never find out who the hell they really are! It's so madding!
The idea's there, the manga's hopefully better, but I don't consider this anime vary well done at all...one of my not-so-favorites, but like I've said, most of the characters are adorable (maybe it's the ears...)

Jonas Took on Anime North (and won!)
Anime North 2008 was a blast! I don't think I’ll ever see that number of happy squeeing (literally) people. It was crazy! Last years attendance was 13,500 but this year’s numbers aren’t out yet. 250 tables of pure anime memorabilia, and that's not counting Artists Ally! And it was PACKED, taking three separate locations for all of it. The Congress Center for the main part, the Doubletree International Plaza Hotel for events and Renaissance Toronto Airport Hotel for Yaoi North.
Friday:
We got there at around 12:30, but we weren’t supposed to check in at the hotel till 3. So they where really nice and let us into the one room they had ready, so we took all are stuff there. Oh and just so you have some idea of how much a disaster this was, there are 10 people shoving all there bags into on hotel room...it didn't look like a hotel room any more.
After that was done, we waited for people to get into their costumes, and went to the Congress Center to register. The hotel was like a block away so it was perfect! It tool like have an hour to get through the line and get the passes, but luckily no one had to get a weapons check, or it would have been so much longer.
So after registration we walked around taking pictures (i filled me camera ^_^). Then we went back to the hotel to get drinks and food. The way back blow my mind; the hotel was suddenly full of cosplayers! Every elevator was packed to capacity, the look on the faces of the normal people staying there was hilarious.
When we got back to the Congress Center the line for the dealers room had wrapped around the building! We where lucky enough to be in the second grope in. It was amazing!
There was also wrestling by the main entrance, we watch a little of it, because watching big messily guys dressed up like power rangers trying to beat the crap out of each other was hilarious.
Saturday:
We where back in the dealers room by 10:30. The crowd was a little thinner then it had been on Friday, but it seamed that the number of people grow ever have hour. So after shopping me and the Sarah's went to watch the Cosplay Chess (A chess mach using people in cosplay as chess peaces. When one has to kill the other they walk off the board and duel in character). I have all but 2 of the duels on video!
More shopping and picture taking took up the rest of the day.
That night we when to the Doubletree and watched a comedy montage, it was hilarious. We got back to the hotel around 11:30, and just hung out for the rest of the night. All day and night both sides of the highway where lined with cosplayers going back and forth from the convention and the hotels.
Sunday:
Check out time was at 1, and oh my god, was it hilarious! The elevators where full of cosplayers ready to check out and got back to the dealers room for one last time.
Not much was on in terms of event, but i was left behind at the dealers room when every one went for sushi. T.T so it went back to the hotel and waited under a tree, taking pictures of plains for an hour. The ride home was quite, every one was so tired. I got home around 5 with: 6 poster, 2 hats, 3 plushies, 2 shirts, a bag, 3 buttons, 4 dangly things, a dog cuff, a finger claw, 3 memory cards worth of pictures and $55. All in all I think I did ok. ^.^
I can't wait to go nest years, I'll just need to make sure I have a costume.

Jonas Vs. Anime North (tomorow!)
Anime North, North America’s largest Anime Convention is Tomorrow! I can't wait! 3 days with my friends in Toronto, and some of the biggest anime nerds in North America. I've been waiting since I got my ticket in February, and it's finally here!
I've been saving since summer, but I had to make the choice to not get a costume and have more spending money. Oh well, I couldn't decided who I was going to go as any way :(. But I have lots of spending money; so hopeful that will make everything better.
Sushi! Oh ya, apparently the best is sold there, I'm so have to have some! I just hope it not to expensive. T.T
I'm all so hoping I can find all I'm hoping to get: Gravitation box set, Cowboy Bebop box set and a plushy, hopefully Kon (Bleach).
I'm taking both my digital and video cameras so expect to see lots of pictures. ;)
